"I am now going into my seventh week of rehabilitation and still ahead of schedule! Most of the focus has been on building up my thigh muscles as this is where I had the most muscle loss after my operation. My legs feel stronger than ever before, which should help me with my Vaulting when I get back into competition, although I look more like a rugby player than a gymnast now!
"Next week we are planning to test my knee with some pretty heavy weights in a 'clean and jerk' exercise, it is the ultimate test. I am also planning to increase my time in the gym at Huntingdon, which is really positive and something I am looking forward too.
"My injury has also allowed me to give a little bit more back into the community. I have spent the last couple of weeks going into a few local schools helping out with their sports days and giving a bit of inspiration to the kids. I was also a guest on BBC Radio Northampton's Monday Night Sport where I helped present the show for an hour; you can catch up on the BBC iplayer if you missed it -
