Olympic Gymnast, Daniel Keatings, has proved yet again he has what it takes to compete in London 2012 by winning a Bronze medal at the Champions Trophy Tournament in Berlin last week.
Nineteen year old Daniel, led the All Around tournament in Berlin after just three rounds, but due to a mistake on the parallel bars in the final round, finished in an admirable third place; winning the bronze medal. Considering his mistake on the bars, Daniel said "he was happy with third place and is making good progress with his routines in preparation for the World Championships"; which take place at the London O2 Arena next month.
Daniel is currently in Greece at the Team GB training camp, preparing for the World Championships which opens on 13th October. He will be joined by other Team GB gymnasts Louis Smith and Marissa King. We wish them all the very best of luck.
