Daniel Keatings competes in the Tyson American Cup 2010

On Saturday 6th March, Massachusetts was home to the 2010 Tyson American Cup. Daniel Keatings was nervous going into the first competition of the season, but arrived armed with some new routines. With a field full of strong gymnasts he was facing some tough opposition.

Up against familiar rivals, reigning Tyson American Cup champion Fabian Hambuechen and Maxim Devyatovskiy, Daniel was keen to shine with some highly difficult sequences.

But unfortunately Keatings experienced a small mistake on the Pommel Horse, distancing himself from the rest of the field. Despite this he went on to win on the Pommel and finished fifth overall in the Tyson American Cup with a score of 88.650.

Well done Daniel!

The men's All-Around title was won by Russian gymnast Maxim Devyatovskiy and the women's All-Around by Rebecca Bross of Plano, Texas.
