Daniel Keatings makes Zoe's day

On Tuesday 1st June, the gymnasts of Kettering Gymnastics Club were greeted by European Pommel Champion Daniel Keatings. One of the gymnasts at the club, 8 year old Zoe Parker won a competition held by Daniel's sponsors Opus Energy, winning tickets to the European Championships and a chance to train with him.

Zoe said;

"I had a really fab time today and at the europeans. Thank you."

The training session included taking photos, asking questions and getting autographs, as unfortunately due to the injury Daniel suffered in a recent training session he was unable to partake in any routines with Zoe. Daniel stayed for a couple of hours in the morning and although hampered by his injury gave Zoe plenty of advice and a training session she will never forget!
