Fresh from his All Around Silver win at the World Championships, Daniel Keatings was back in action at the weekend, winning the third stage of the Champions Trophy in Hannover, Germany.
Having had just one day of rest since the World Championships, he was feeling overwhelmed with all the attention he has received after winning at the World Championships.
Daniel said, "When I came back into the gym last Monday I was finding it hard to concentrate after everything that happened. The media coverage I got just went through the roof and I haven't really had much time to reflect on what happened. But I still have a couple of competitions to concentrate on so I am doing my best to stay in the zone at the moment."
With just one stage of the Champions Trophy left, Daniel is currently sitting forth place, just three points behind the leader in the trophy's ranking. The final leg will be held on 15 November in Stuttgart. The gymnast who has the most points from all four competitions will win the Champions Trophy, 50,000 Euros and a new car.
