Children in Need

The BBC's Children in Need run fundraising shows and events throughout the country to help raise money for the charity. As part of this, Daniel Keatings appeared on BBC Scotland on Friday 20th November to take part in a feature called "Challenge Daniel".

For the challenge Daniel donated £1 of his own money for every circle he completed on the Pommel Horse in 1 minute. The BBC then encouraged the audience to do the same. Amazingly Daniel managed a total of 62 circles on the Pommel Horse raising £62 for Children in Need.

Opus Energy also donated £1000 to the challenge to get the ball rolling.

Question of Sport

Testing his knowledge of all things sport, Daniel Keatings will be appearing on the BBC's Question of Sport on Friday 4th December as part of a team line up.

On the show presented by Sue Barker, he will appear on the team with rugby World Cup winner Matt Dawson and Ashes winning cricketer Matthew Hoggard.

During the show Daniel will take part in the mystery guest, quickfire and home or away rounds, where he chooses between answering a question on gymnastics, or taking a gamble on a different sport.
