At the beginning of 2009 Charlie Crossley Cooke the Managing Director
of Opus Energy, was
inspired by London hosting the 2012 Olympic games and wanted to ‘do his bit’ and support a local,
Olympic training athlete.
Opus Energy's search for a passionate
and ambitious athlete that demonstrated potential within their sporting
discipline uncovered Northamptonshire-based Daniel Keatings, who specialises
in all disciplines of Artistic Gymnastics, but excels on the Pommel Horse.
Daniel is showing huge potential for the 2012 Olympics, having already
won Britain’s first ever medal in the men’s All Around event at this year’s
World Championships and a bronze on the Pommel Horse, at a World Cup event.

on the local community and provide opportunities for young ambitious people,
helping them on their journey to success.
